Kalsubai with the height of 1646m [5400 Feet] is one of the most famous mountain peaks in Maharashtra. Kalsubai lies in the Sahyadri mountain range. Apart from the beautiful views, this trek covers a symbolic temple at the top. From the top of the mountain, you can get great views of the Bhandardara Lake and Wison dam. During monsoons, this place is full of flowers.
It usually takes three hours to reach the top from Bari (our base stop). Soon after leaving Bari, trekkers cross a small stream post which they reach the Hanuman temple. The route from behind this temple take the trekkers straight to the summit.

Board Indrayani train from Pune at 18:35
Reach Kalyan 21:00 (have dinner before you board the train)
Board local train till Kasara.
Friday – Leave from CSMT and Board the 22:50 Kasara Local.
Saturday – Kalsubai Trek
01:30 Assemble at Kasara Railway Station
Reach Base Village at 05.00 am approximately. Rest for some time. Enjoy the bonfire.
Have Breakfast and freshen up.
Reach the top of Kalsubai by 12:00 pm approx.
We start our descend by 1.00 pm and reach to the base village.
Heavy meal will be served post which we will departure by 4.30 pm
